Groupers At The Pier

We camp at Apache Campground a couple of times a year and Groupers is right there and easy to walk to. It's under new ownership and it is a big improvement as the hours are much better now. On our last visit we ordered a Flounder sandwich and Bang Bang shrimp. The Flounder sandwich was good. The Bang Bang shrimp however, was covered with something more like sweet and sour sauce. I ate it but I was disappointed. When ordering Bang Bang shrimp I expect a little bite to it and this has none. If your a fan of sweet and sour though, you will like this shrimp.

Tried this locally owned spot on our recent trip to Myrtle Beach. One son had the shrimp basket while my wife and I the shrimp and flounder basket and let me say that both the shrimp and flounder were seasoned and fried to perfection with just the right amount of breading. Both the shrimp and flounder fillet tasted like they had just been pulled from the ocean. My other son had a chicken sandwich which he practically inhaled, so they have enough menu variety to satisfy both seafood lovers and non-lovers alike. This great little spot is located on the pier at the back of the Apache Family Campground. Service was fast and everyone was very welcoming. Didnt get a chance to make a 2nd trip during this visit but will definitely be eating here on all our future visits.
