This was the worst Ive ever seen. We paid to stay from 04/05/2024-04/07/2024. When we checked in and begin to get our things settled in the room. The room smelted kinda strange. Covers was dirty and room was dirty as well, there was no water pressure and the entertainment center draws will not close. Trying calling front desk to let them know about services and the phone line was not working in the room. After complaining about this, nothing was addressed about the unlivable condition. So I had to spend extra money to find somewhere else to stay. But due to events nothing was available until the next day. I went to check out a day earlier which was 04/06/2024. The staff said that we could not get a refund. And we couldnt get our security deposit back until 04/07/2024. She was rude and not helpful or apologetic at all. Then on 04/07/2024 went back to the office to ask for a refund and deposit. She said that we have to wait for security clearance. Stood there for a while and noticed for all the Black she told them they had to wait for their deposit after security clearance but when the white people checked out she gave them their deposit without any security clearance. So I addressed what I was witnessing. I asked why when black people came in they had to wait for security clearance but the white people didnt. She wouldnt not even answer my question. She just hurried and gave me my deposit but not a refund. So sad that people are still segregating. I dont see color, I give the best service no matter who you are and no matter what race you are. This place needs to be condemned. I will be making a call to report you guys for having people living in unlivable conditions. If you are in Myrtle Beach, this is not a good place to stay. Its nasty and bad hospitality. I wouldve gave the zero stars rating if possible
