Avoid avoid avoid. Had rental confirmation and when arrived told no cars to rent even though the lot was full. Avoid avoid avoid.

Christon was an absolute bully and rude from the word go. We came here as we couldn't find any charging station working in Myrtle beach for the Chevy Bolt EUV rented from Charleston Airport . The EUV was almost out of charge and we didn't want to risk it taking it to the Myrtle airport as we had our 1 year old with us. When we requested for an exchange vehicle his response was he can't help as they do not work with electric vehicle and our only option was to take it to the airport. I asked if he could arrange a tow truck to take it to the airport and his response was "You don't tell me what to do, I will tell you, I am the manager here." And then proceeded on to blame me for taking the vehicle to his store, told me "Why didn't you check the battery level before coming here?" We did check and tried 3 different charging station before going there. Then he told us "Take it to the airport." As I said the charge indicator is only showing low and not how many miles it can go, hence I don't want to risk driving it. He then angrily said: "they always show miles range irrespective of charge" and proceeded angrily towards the car to show me how righteous he was. He had to eat his own words as he was wrong. He then exchanged the car for an extremely old Toyota which also wouldn't start the next day as the battery was too old (we had to jump start it with the help with a kind stranger). Long story short, avoid this manager at this Avis store at all cost.

Christon went above and beyond to help us during our visit to Myrtle Beach, and truly made our trip so much more enjoyable! Really appreciated his kindness and care. Highly recommend!
