This campground was excellent! It offers not only the ocean but a water park, an indoor outdoor pool, shops, restaurants, parks, nature center, dog park, restaurants, and so much more! You can camp in a tent and rv or rent one of the many houses! Make sure you have a golf cart, scooter or bike to navigate through the grounds!!!

Ocean Lakes is amazing and should be the standard every campground aspires to be. Its so organized and we appreciate the express pass that they mail to you prior to your arrival. Its easy to navigate and bring in larger 5th wheels. We book in the 4000 section for shade. Its generally a quiet campground. Sometimes the teenagers play their music loud when they are riding their golf carts. It isnt a big deal though. The beach is immaculate and so relaxing. Its a wonderful place for all age groups, especially kids and pets. There are multiple playgrounds and a dog runs. Make sure to rent a golf cart. Its a large campground. Everything is spotless and well maintained. Cant wait to go again.

Sometimes a business becomes to big for its britches. Upon checking in for my 7 night stay there was no assistance at all to a very busy campground. Not a problem I could handle it. All of the sites for RVs are pull through. I had a corner spot and have a small RV so it was easy for me but the site next to me had a change over 3 times and none of them were able to pull through. They all had to finagle their way because each site is so tight. The sites are packed in like sardines. I did love being 1 block from the beach, next to a clean bath house and it did have good amenities such as a water park but so do some many other well secured campgrounds. Here comes the really and Im mean extremely annoying part. Every night around 8:30 there was a parade of golf carts with teenagers flying around out of control rowdy and blasting loud music well past quiet hours. It was so crowded during the day with golf carts and so many other motorized things with kids on them. I did not feel safe. It felt like spring break for the college kids at Daytona Beach. I cant express how unhappy I am with my stay. And security had absolutely no control over the situation. I work at a campground and my boss would never have tolerated that unsafe out of control environment. She would have tossed them out of the campground. Here is the problem it is obvious this type of behavior is expected and not new. It has most likely grown to a massive problem thanks to social media. The impression I got was that they didnt care because they are money hungry and figure it is only for a week. And who cares about the transients. The very large majority of people were from South and North Carolina. The ambulance and or police were there 4 times in the area I stayed. My daughter told me one girl got hit by a car. I didnt even feel safe, riding my bike for fear of being hit by other forms of motorized transportation: I wanted to add a video of the teenagers and golf carts but I wasnt able to. And one last point of view. I was so looking forward to this camping trip. I traveled from NJ. It takes a whole lot of preparation and on average people take camping trips about 3 weeks out of the year. And to have this level of dissatisfaction goes well beyond any attempt at Human Resources response with one of their almost carbon copied reply. So unless you are really willing to make a change dont bother.
