Dont waste your time or money at this shop, they were very unclear on when asked whether or not my vehicle would have any issues in the future. We asked them from the start what they recommended, since theyre the professionals. After the first $10k we dropped, we noticed the truck started to leak oil, had a broken plastic piece near the antenna, and the headlights were not working and keep it mind the truck NEVER leaked anything or had issues with the lights. Upon taking the truck back to their shop in mt pleasant to fix the issues, come to find out the supposed leak is coming from the rocker box or somewhere in that general area. We then tell them that we dont know too much about a diesel engine and that we just want the truck working in great condition with no leak, no problems whatsoever. After many phone calls and back to back conversations about this and that, they then tell us that the truck is gonna need new head gaskets a new turbo, studs and etc. 2nd price they gave me was almost $9,500. They fail as professionals to inform us ahead of time if we should put money into the truck or just save those $20k. I picked up the truck today Wednesday march 27, 2024 and noticed that the truck leaks diesel from somewhere in the engine bay. Im honestly frustrated that again they shouldve told us from the start if the truck was gonna end up like this we wouldve avoided a lot of money and time wasted. Keep in mind, I spoke to a guy named Glenn that works there and asked him many times if I could speak to the owner Jon, I even asked for Jon when I first got to the shop and I understand he was occupied but from all this you would expect the owner to speak to the client or at least call to see what couldve been done. Me in my line of work, we tell a client ahead of time what causes an issues and how to go about finding a solution. By reading the reviews of others, I know performance diesel (Jon) is gonna read this, I wish you well but honestly this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Now I dont even know what to do at this point, Im stuck with a fuel leak and Glenn wasnt even here today to speak to him in person. Thanks

You drove your 2006 Ford F-250 with 201K miles in barely running with 25-30 PSI of fuel PSI, multiple bad injectors and just said fix it. The truck had a laundry list of issues, being mostly original with no work begin done to engine. On the first repair you approved new injectors, new oil cooler and a new fuel pump. Nothing was ever said about doing any other work or fixing any leaks. After picking the truck up you came back for an oil leak which was at the rocker box on the passenger cylinder head. Everything in the valley of the engine was dry, only leak was at turbo outlet on exhaust and rear passenger side on the rocker box which requires cylinder head to be removed. Your aftermarket HID headlights had melted electrical plugs on them, how could we melt your plugs?? After finding out you needed the heads to be removed you specifically said you wanted new O-ringed heads with studs, you didn't even want to wait on the machine shop, so we ordered new heads. You also stated if we find anything else wrong with your 2006 Ford when removing the heads to call you. After removing the cab to remove the heads, we found multiple items that needed to be addressed and you denied fixing everything we found, you only approved studs, gaskets, lifters and new heads. The turbo that we knew was faulty was reinstalled because you denied purchasing a new one with the new heads and shockingly the truck still had an oil leak from the seal inside the turbo, so we had to go back in a third time to replace a turbo that we knew was faulty, we can only do so much when reinstalling original/old parts. Your engine was out on an engine stand, we called you to come by so we can explain everything to you, and you said yet again just fix it, but you only approved the minimum amount of work, we made an effort to show you everything that was wrong but you wouldn't give us the time, so we did what you approved, the bare minimum. Unfortunately you picked your truck up and a short while after a fuel leak came, we told you to come back right then and we would fix it, you never came back, I skipped my lunch to wait for you. We called you with no answer and then you text back saying you have no ride. We stand behind our work and if there's a fuel leak, we will fix it. As we spoke about through txt earlier if you can get here in the morning, we will address the issue. You said you cannot come back today; we cannot fix something that you won't bring back and we cannot fix something with old worn-out parts. Respectfully,Jonathan Schwerin Performance Diesel 843 209 3300
