I am appalled at how I was just treated at this store. The door was locked at 5:45 when they close at 6. They kept unlocking the door and letting people out and let one in. An employee was being super rude and yelling at everyone. Having an absolute emotional breakdown. I do feel for her because obviously there was something mentally happening. The supervisor proceeded to lie to my face and say that he locked the door at 5 mins until 6. Hello?! Am I missing something? The customers coming out felt the same way. Not how I wanted to conclude my Friday afternoon. Just wanted to run in a get a pair of shoes I saw online. DSW lost out on a lot of sales and customers that were saying they would never return.

They really need a lesson about customer service. I was at the store for about 15 minutes when I heard store will be closing in 10 min. I quickly decided to walk to clearance section when an employee proceeded telling me they will be closing in 10 min. Than she said everyone was mowing to the front as they are closing so if I see something I should come tomorrow. I still had about 7 minutes to shop!! I walked out and not planning to come back.

You would think someone there knows how to answer a phone??? Senior Citizens can't afford to come in person if you don't have what they want? Answer the phone so I can ask if you have what I am looking for?

Today I was inside DSW, trying on some slim fit boots, minding my own business. I was looking at the boots I had tried on in the mirror when I was approached by a girl. This girl interjected her opinion telling me this fit boot is more for her type calves referring to her slender legs. She then followed up with I could find wider fitted boots over there for myself. Please remember I never asked her for her fat shaming opinion. She then began to walk away and said Im not just saying that I work here. I was completely disgusted with the lack of awareness for what a worker was saying to a possible customer. I immediately returned the shoes to the shelves and walked out. Do better with customer service DSW or at least hire people competent enough to interact with humans.
