Pizzeli's Italian Oven

We have been going to Pizzeli's for many years and we have recommended it to a lot of our friends. We use to recommend the pizzas as the best we found in our local area, but after today I not so sure. We ordered 2 small pizzas, 1 meat lovers and 1 white, for take out. The young lady at the register went to the kitchen to check on my order. She came back and said that the white pizza had gotten burnt so she was having a new one made. After waiting a few minutes she brought out my order and I left. When I got home and opened the boxes I saw that the meat lovers was very very well done. Shame on me for not checking them before I left, but I assumed that if she was so concerned about one pizza surely the second one would be okay. Not only that but after trying to eat them I seem to think that they have changed their recipes for their sauce and dough. Very disappointing, I don't think we will be recommending them for pizzas in the future. I feel that I just waisted $37, but I did learn a lesson. And at the price of gas is today why should I also waste my gas to return them for a refund.

Lasagna is very good. I feel my Nonna was in the kitchen in spirit. Good job. Pizza ...... jury is still out. Lots of nice people.
