Great Person with a vast amount of knowledge in the selling and buying property business. I have used Tyler twice now in selling my homes and buying new homes. Tyler is very knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. He is truly there for you every step of the way, if he believes that something is not right for you he will let you know even if it means he will lose out on a sell, this is not found in many realtors. He went way out of his way to make sure that we got the best deal with our selling and buying experience. When dealing with other realtors and lenders he stood his ground and made sure that I and my wife got the best deal that was right for us and believe me, there were some very unprofessional people along the way. But Tyler stood his ground and made sure we got the best deal possible. He went above and beyond for us when other realtors would have just gave in Tyler stood his ground to make sure things were done right. Tyler is the best realtor I have ever had the pure pleasure of working with. Not only is he a great realtor he is just a great, honest and down to earth person who definitely go out of his way to help you in anyway he can. I would not ever use anyone else for help in selling or buying property. Even after the buying and selling of my homes Tyler has stayed in contact with me to make sure that everything is going good. Tyler is truly incredible as a real estate agent. He knows the entire Columbia area extremely well. His real estate expertise was invaluable to us as first-time homebuyers and his industry connections helped us in so many ways to get the information we needed very quickly. I can't emphasize enough how much of an asset Tyler was for us in buying our home. Our family is in the middle of a lot of big life changes and we were relocating to the Columbia area from far away. We had a number of "must-haves" for our home and a very specific budget. Needless to say, we weren't the easiest homebuyers to work with. Tyler was extremely accommodating to our busy schedule and was very patient with us through the process. I believe we looked at over 60 houses together before we found the right one. The market was moving pretty fast when we purchased, so when we weren't available, Tyler would walk-through the potential home for us and send us videos of the property with his recommendation of whether it was a good fit for us. Throughout the homebuying process, Tyler helped identify several pitfalls for bad houses that my wife and I didn't even notice. Other times, he helped show us the value and potential in specific houses that it was hard for us to see. Throughout the offer/negotiation process Tyler was a life-saver. We made several offers on houses that did not work out before we finally found the right one. Tyler was there through the whole process to encourage us. He went the extra mile to ensure we received accurate feedback on work that needed to be done on our future home before the purchase. Also, he was EXTREMELY responsive and informative throughout the entire process. I can't say the same for everyone else that was involved in our homebuying process - so I recognize that is not something that should be taken for granted. When you need him to answer a question, he will get back with you and won't just leave you hanging. It just so happened that all of the advice Tyler gave us that we didn't listen to - we had to learn the hard way. This guy knows what he is doing and he does things the right way. Extremely hard-working and honest. Anybody who values their time and money who is looking for a home in the Columbia area should definitely be working with him.

I would highly recommend the services of Tyler Coates for anyone who is looking to purchase or sell a home. My fianc and I, who were first time homebuyers, utilized his service in purchasing our first home. Tyler made the home buying process easy and as stress free as possible. You also will not find a more honest guy working in this profession. Tyler truly works for his clients and not as a salesman. Tyler was also very familiar with the areas that we were looking to purchase a home at. Tyler was able to provide us information about school districts and potential home appreciation. We also like the fact that Tyler was constantly communicating with us throughout the process about all the appointments, inspections and important dates regarding the process.
