I had an issue with my suv and took it to Ford. A previous mechanic told me I had an electrical issue so I said it would be best for me to take it to a certified dealer. I was told that it was fixed and had some electrical issues indeed and it was released in good standing. Not even a week later my car stopped working again and they said they would check it out and see what was going on. They proceeded to tell me that I needed a new battery. I had recently bought a battery not even 2 weeks prior to this happening. I returned the original battery and bought a battery from Ford. I also informed them during this time the latch on my trunk seemed to be the triggering issue and they said they would take a look at it. When the car was returned the latch was still not working. The car was taken back to the dealership. At this point they requested more money to now fix a latch because thats what was probably draining my battery. I didnt understand especially after I told them to take a look at the latch the second time it was in the shop. I called and spoke to Casey and she said she would have a manager respond back to me and it has now been 3 weeks with no word from her nor a manager. If they didnt know what the initial issue was they should have told me and I could have taken it to another dealership that maybe couldve fixed the issue the first go around.
