SK Builders

I am happy in my new house, but some news has appeared to me from the roof to a water leak in the Yard and I don't know where to go to report these serious failures, someone help me please, thank you very much.

SK Builders is not honest in their business dealings. When I did my first walk-through of the property, there were nice Whirlpool appliances in the home. When I came back one week later for the final walk, the appliances had been switched out to cheaper low-quality appliances. The stove even had a large dent on the bottom. When I questioned the project manager he said those were the same appliances from the week prior, which was a lie. These appliance weren't even the same brand. Instead of looking into the issue he tried to convince me that I didn't know what I was talking about. I was very disappointed with the project manager and how I was treated during this process.

I used SK Builders to build my very first home. I was moving from CA to SC and I contacted Stacy Gross and we immediately hit it off! She had moved from CA as well so she knew what I was going through with not being able to be there all the time. During the whole process, Stacy sent me pictures, provided me updates and gave me status of the house. I am so beyond happy to have had her as my agent! When something was installed incorrectly she made it right! She even went above and beyond by getting me a barn door for my bathroom door just to make it right! When it comes to agents, she is the best! Even being 2300 miles away, I felt like I was still a part of the process every time something big happened! I am so in love with my home and I am so happy I chose SK but I am so lucky to have gotten Stacy as my agent! She made the process so fun and SK is lucky to have such a great person on their staff!

Do not deal with these people. They are the worst. Some people say they used to be okay but now they are run by a bunch of crooks. Poor build quality and when something is not done right will insist there is nothing wrong. When finally admit that there is an issue will take forever to come and fix a little bit at a time dragging it out. Their warranty guy Shawn is absolutely the worst. He will lie to your face. Have no idea how they are still in business treating people this way.
