I moved to Western North Carolina 13 years ago. Since that time I've had all kinds of unsatisfactory experiences with dental services. Not with Dr. Cox's dental practice. It is easily the best dental practice I've been to yet in every way. Dr. Cox is professional, thorough, and patient oriented - as are all members of the staff. Never thought I'd say this, but it's a real pleasure to "go to the dentist" - when that dentist is Dr. Cox - even if it does take an hour to get there. Very highly recommended.

I found Dr. Cox earlier this year when searching for a practice close to home that was a network provider for my new insurance plan. I had not heard anything about this practice, so was taking a shot in the dark. Wow! I have been so impressed with Dr. Cox, her staff, and the facility. Dr. Cox and her staff are friendly and professional, making new and long-time patients feel welcome and confident in the level of care they provide. The facility is new, clean, and fitted with modern dental equipment. I encourage anyone looking for a dental practice in/near Greer to give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

I am currently needing to have a root canal done. I had to find a dentist that could complete the root canal, and was covered under my insurance. Aetna revealed that Cox Dental would be able to help me out. I made an appointment and had my X-rays sent over from my old dentist. I made it to my appointment and was told I'd need to have one xray done. No big deal...so I go about getting the x ray done and I am then seen by Doctor Cox who confirms what I already know from my first dentist appointment, I need a root canal and some fillings done. Dr. Cox was in my room for less than 5 minutes. So, I am then given a treatment plan which outlines my work to be done. I told the hygenist that I will need to call my insurance and reschedule the appointment. I was in the office for less than 20 minutes...saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes...had 1 xray done. I went ahead and scheduled to have my root canal done by Dr. Cox after my wisdom teeth were to be removed the next week. I get an e-mail from my insurance a few days later to find out I was billed $200!!! $200 for 1 xray?! I'm planning on contesting this with my insurance....this is highway robbery and I feel very taken advantage of..
