This place is nice, I like the atmosphere and food but you have to get there early for parking.

My wife took me here for my birthday and I wish I had gone anywhere else other than here .
We were seated at 730 and then about 8 30 we began to wonder when our entrees would be brought out . The waitress never came around to keep us updated.
Finally after an 1 hour and 15 minutes she pops up and says " I am sorry sir , we ran out of prime rib. " All righty then .
My thought was why did it take over an hour to realize that ?
By that time it's almost 9 . She did ask could she get me something else and I said no just get my wife's food and I will be OK. Her food came 20 later . Now it's well after 9 . Birthday nightmare.
Then I asked for the manager because the waitress ducked the situation and stayed hidden until I seen her cleaning the table behind me . I was talking to her , she came to my back stood behind me and was talking to me from behind , not face to face .
Then the kitchen manager showed up. I explained my displeasure including being charged
$ 15.00 for a salad that I didn't order. She said that the next time you come , if you get a salad you have to pay for it . That's fine if I asked for it and I had known it . The waitress brought out 2 salad plates so that led me to believe it came with the meal.
She said she would remove the salad and offered to cook me something else . It's after 930 so all I wanted to do is go .
I have enough to pay for my food there and anywhere else I choose . I Guess they thought I wanted something for nothing. That wasn't the case . But I would have thought they would have comp the bill or reduced it. Nothing like that . She seemed more focused on the explanation not a resolution that was satisfactory to us ..
Then as we were leaving the up front manger saw us , she looked the other way and never acknowledged us at all. She seemed salty that we had the nerve to complain. .
The Nightmare was at The Peddler . Not on Elm Street. .
