    Worst experience ever and biggest waste of $525. I paid these people to perform an appraisal! They never visited the property and used images that were upwards of 15 years old. They stated my property had no fencing when I had just had $30k worth of fence installed. Did not mention of 20+ acres of timberland and even used my own property as a Comp property to itself. The comps were from completely different counties of the state when the surrounding property to mine had all recently sold, but no mention of those properties. Mark Chapman acted as if he would get it straightened out for me and asked me to send him pictures to prove the appraiser didn’t show and instead turned around and just added my pictures to the appraisal and actually deducted money from the initial appraisal amount and added in the fence cost to make the same initial value...WORTHLESS COMPANY AND CROOKS!! STAY AWAY! Wish I could give negative stars. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CALL YOURSELF A BUSINESS...will be filing complaints with the BBB.

    This appraiser was used when we bought the place and did not show up yet still gave an appraisal. Then when asked to come he was short with the sellers and lowered the appraisal. Round 2 for the refi the same guy was sent. Seriously was a no show AGAIN! Then when asked to come out and actually look at the place in less than 6 minutes he was leaving. He tried to practically use the same appraisal as when we bought the place in 2019...down to the same exact notes that stated, "the power was off so he could not examine how well the electronics worked." Our power is very much on and functioning. Also note there has been much work done to the property and value is rising VERY fast in this area. When we said we would not accept the lack of service they sent him out AGAIN to reevaluate which resulted in him saying he wasn't changing anything and again having a terrible attitude. He left and we were informed we would receive a refund... two days later we get his halfhearted appraisal and were informed we would not get our money back because he had to come out twice... Terrible service, if you are going to service the low-country and rural properties, you should have appraisers familiar with the area and property types.
