    Serrus has been a great management company to rent from. Ollie always responds in a timely manner and takes care of any repairs that come up within a couple of days. Very easy to rent from...I would highly recommend leasing one of their properties!

    i rented from serrus 2 different times with both times dealing with ''OLLIE MEDFORD....The first place i rented from them, i absoluetly had no issues with the place and as a matter of fact i loved the place.Stayed there 3 years , i only moved from there due to personal issues.. About 6 months later i reconnected with her and rented another place from them. Renting from Ms.OLLIE was never an issue , however i moved into a home that seemed to be spacious and beautiful.Although the closets were very very small it had nice Hard wood floors, nicely painted walls and the neighborhhod seemed to be peaceful.Now that was just looking at it and moving in without putting any serious thought into it. ok about 5 months of living there, the floors and the walls started cracking, i started noticing rodiants coming from the cracks in the floor and even had some crawling out of my freezer not to mention the spiders and the noises that were coming from inside the house and the house was kind of slanted in the back which made the bedroom floors appear to go in a downward position. the house wasnt properly balanced. i contacted Ollie and never got a response from her, it wasnt until my 2nd complaint that she actually contacted me back which was 10 days shy from being a month and this was after my several failed attempts to get rid of the rodiants and termites , only for her ''OLLIE' to tell me ' that after 3 days of moving in, the pest becomes my responsibilty.. Now the problem with that for me was that i had already knew from the neighors who had recently moved from that house to the next one was that they were having the same issues plus more were the reason they had moved . according to them, they were placed into the next door by the actual Landlord because of them threatning to sue due to their daughter getting sick from being eaten by the bugs. There was no way i was going to spend my hard earned money continuing trying to fix a problem that was already there.After contacting OLLIE again with no reponse, i was very disapponted and i felt as if the relationship i had built with her was only buisness , which is fine but if its buisness then it should have been taking care of. The last straw was me actually seeing this huge black spider, no not just any spider but something that looked harmful was crawling on my bed where i had my niece laying at, i felt that if i had been just a minute late, it would have gotten to my neice and possibly bitten her. i actually have a video of the spider in which i sent to MS.Ollie and still didnt get a response, so as a result , i packed my things and returned her key. Im not trying to encourage anyone thats reading this to not rent from them because as i stated earlier, renting from them was never an issue , and if you find something from them thats worth it could be a great company to rent from , however just pay close attention to detail and do your research before giving your hard earned money because buisness is just what it is..

    Serrus has acceptable properties in great areas which may tempt you to rent from them. If you do choose to rent from Serrus, be aware that the property managers will do everything in their power to ensure you do not receive your full deposit. It is in your best interest to take photos of every little bit of the house during the move-in inspection. Otherwise, they will attempt to pin you with EVERY thing in the house. Our move-in photos helped us exponentially. You have in-home inspections every six months. You don't have to be present and you won't get any valuable feedback. It is mostly just to ensure the rental is not destroyed. Otherwise, communication between the property manager and you is minimal. I did enjoy the privacy and live and let live nature of the relationship.

    Serrus was the property manager for our rental for the two years we lived in one of their homes. They were professional from the first day we contacted them. I also appreciate how they treated us respectfully and helped us out with all sorts of problems that we had: A/C issues, septic issues, transitioning out of the property, and so on. They are a growing company and on the move. Two thumbs up for Serrus!
