Got my first fine line tattoo here and love it! Experience was great and super friendly. Elizabeth is really through with placement and sizing and very light handed, it was virtually painless. Im super happy and will be back!

While the exterior can be off putting, do not worry because the talent inside is absolutely amazing. They took my inspiration pic and did such an amazing job, blowing it out of the water. The picture does not do it justice. She was also really nice and conversation was easy, something hard to find at many places. I will definitely be coming back for another set sometime soon!! How is Phoenix Nail and Tattoo different?Here, artists aside. Here are real people with real talent with a small business getting their heels in and getting settled in a new place and a new space doing something that they are REALLY good at. Heres the thing. Most of the salons you have been to or will every go to are aiming to hit a quota. As many people in as possible. There is nothing wrong with this model. This is the kinda place I go to when I have a flight in two days and want my hands to look like I DON'T box for a living. (Ain't nothing wrong with that..I love boxing). But when you want an artist's attention, hit up Phoenix Nail and Tattoo. You want massages, wine, true artist time and attention to your nails, design and creativity. AND you want this all without waiting, without it taking too long, without preparation, without discussion pre-appointment, without deposits, and the bow on top, you want it all for under $50?? Come one now. Try having a tattoo artist that is trying to keep with a quota. Exactly. You dont want to be the customer on the end of that. Elizabeth and her partner were so welcoming and friendly. I am usually the person who thinks I dont want conversation in the salon, but when it's genuine and flows, it speaks to the artist. These are some talented women, who are good at what they do, love what they do and I might add, love animals. I have a new found interest in guinea pigs! Respect their process. Respect their asks. Appointment only. Await a response. That may take time. That means you have to plan. Secure the deposit. These are small business owners. Respect the process. We laughed about our pets, we watched Liam Neeson kick butt, we talked about restaurants. Elizabeth recommended some decent places to get pho. We listened to the true crime podcast I had blazing, and just as importantly, Elizabeth created this dope amazing design on my nails. Her eye was keen to ensure symmetry on both hands.  She took her time. She asked for my input. She just put so much time and care into the process. I'm impressed. That I'm impressed doesnt mean shit. But I'm impressed. Highly. Highly recommend.
