James Lynn Builders remodeled an 1800 sf basement with 2 baths and 2 kitchenettes and multiple rooms. They were top-rate professionals all along the process. Estimate and contract were detailed and included allowances for selections which made the process go smoothly as we went along - no surprises!!! I would recommend them and use them again!!! James-Lynn Builders came highly recommended from another satisfied client, and we completely agree with them! Allan and David were immediately responsive and from the beginning were great to work with.
Both were very clear about their observations and project approach, and quite helpful and accurate regarding costs and time frames. They really listened to our questions, preferences and needs with respect, and had some wonderful ideas for our project without any pressure on their end.
David was great at answering questions and keeping us informed on the status of our contract throughout the process. He was always quite kind and helpful.
Allan was professional, calm, and knowledgeable managing our renovation and carrying through on our ideas and wishes. He is very upbeat and positive. Allan always found good solutions if something unexpected arose. They have a great team working for them and do high quality work.
Remodeling can be stressful, but the two of them are trustworthy, nice people. They sure made the process easy. We felt very comfortable working with them.
Overall, we feel very blessed to have had James-Lynn Builders do our renovation and are so happy with the outcome. They were a joy to work with and our new home is everything we dreamed of having from the start and more. We, too, can highly recommend them for renovation and remodeling. Service: Home renovations

Working with James Lynn Builders was the best decision we could have made for our home addition and renovation project! David and Allan make the perfect team and both of them are very thorough in their roles. From the initial meeting with David to the final walk through with Allan our experience was better than we ever expected. After hearing many horror stories about working with other builders and contractors from our friends and family, we were nervous going into the project, but quickly our minds were put at ease and we absolutely trusted David and Allan throughout the process. They were open and honest about pricing, communicated with us regularly about progress and any (very minor) delays, and quickly followed up on any questions or concerns we had. Even though we made several changes throughout the process they were incredibly patient and understanding. Allan even went out of his way to suggest an alternative kitchen layout/design, without pressuring us either way, but we ended up taking his advice and WOW it turned out so well! We honestly couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. David and Allan are clearly genuinely good people and I highly recommend them and their team if you're considering them for a renovation and/or addition, don't hesitate, they are the best! James Lynn Builders just finished a complete remodel of my kitchen, bathroom, laundry and mudroom while staying on budget. David and Allan along with their subcontractors exceed my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone. Due to the size of the project and the difficulties that come with the renovation of an old house, the project took over 4 months. During this time, I lived on one site of the house and they worked on the other site. Every day after work I was able to see the progress and they also followed up with phone calls, emails and texts. The construction zone was cleaned every day and dust and dirt kept to a minimum. The quality of craftmanship is exceptional and it is a pleasure to use the new spaces.
