Faris Family Dental

The office includes a very caring/professional dental staff and Dr, Pruitt is and exceptional doctor that can be trusted. I have been going to Faris Family Dental for many years and besides regular cleanings, I have also received successful cap and bridge work which leads me to strongly recommending their services.

First I had to email them for an appointment cause noone ever answers the phone. Had a toothache. It was very bad for 4 days. I waited for my appointment as they are my regular dentist. Dentist said she was going to put me on medicine and bring me back to extract the tooth. I was already on antibiotic for the infection. Once she found that out, she changed her story. She no longer said she could do it. Stated I needed to go to an oral surgeons office. It was going to cost around 800 dollars. I made an appointment for later that afternoon with today's dental. They saw me and the dentist took an xray and removed tooth in like 5 minutes. I was so thankful as I was in so much pain. Farris Dental stated they could do nothing to help me. A waste of time. Not to mention the filling in the tooth that absessed was done in their office. I am not surprised by the bad reviews. I will no longer be a patient there. Either way, I doubt they care.

Dr. Pruitt was super rude. If I wasnt referred here I would NEVER choose to come here. I dont recommend this dentist to my worst enemy. Dr. Pruitt was very ignorant and does not tell you what procedure shes doing. She is very rough with patients and doesnt verify your name to make sure its the correct patient. I would put 0 stars if it was a thing!

I hate them now been going since 2000, they have really gotten bad. They NEVER answer the phone, it take them so long to check you in. They really just need to close down

ZERO STARS only put one star to leave this review. I scheduled an appt for a cleaning with this office as a new patient and arrived for my scheduled appointment time and was told that they reached out the day before to cancel and reschedule due to staff not being in today. And I took off work 2 weeks in advance for this appointment.The lady at the front tells me that they dont have any availability until April AFTER Ive already waited MONTHS for this appointment. HORRIBLE experience and I cant believe they couldnt make any accommodations and would cancel and reschedule appointments with only a day notice. Would not recommend this place AT ALL. VERY INCONSIDERATE Office and STAFF !
