It's a shame before God how the nurses NEVER return phone calls. I will be finding a BETTER doctor office than this one.

I would say the Doctor I seen is the prime reason African American women are at a higher risk for terminal illnesses. My questions were unanswered and my health was neglected. I felt like an animal at a shelter, one whom had too many problems and euthanized because it was the easier option. The doctor went around my issue of uterine pain and seemed eager for me to get on birth control without diagnosing or addressing my current issue. Having endometritis 2 months ago, birth control could worsen the condition, I know that I am at a higher risk for serious side effects. He tried to tell me what kind of pain I was having when I am the patient and I am telling him what kind of pain I am in. I am a nurse and understand exactly what kind of pain I'm in and can explain it very well. He then said he wasn't going to do anything for me after I continuously redirected the conversation to my original issue. I asked how long should I stay in pain before he decides to takes action he said maybe 4 -6 months. A long time for a patient to be in pain, when pain is being caused by normal activities such as standing up or sitting down. Absolute worst experience no test was done to rule out any potential causes. Then he said "Well I hope your baby was worth all of this" very offensive and degrading. I will file a formal complaint with the Doctors name.

While pregnant ( I am no longer ) I did not feel I received the care I needed towards the end. I did ultimately transfer my care at 37 weeks and Im thankful I did. It was very difficult to get my appointments scheduled towards the end when you need your appointments 1-2 times a week. It was hard to get someone on the phone for any billing related questions throughout the entirety of the pregnancy. I was given a routine rogam shot but never provided an explanation as to why that was necessary or what it was. Towards 36 weeks- I had a UTI in which I came in without having seen a provider for an urgent appointment, gave a urinalysis, and received ZERO help with this. I was not called back and given any medication or advice on how to proceed with discomfort. I was informed that UTI could be harmful to baby so this was very unsettling not to mention painful with all that added physical pressure. I was thankful that tidelands FINALLY released my paperwork to a different provider (after weeks of phone calls and follow up- I felt real stuck with this situation) - I went to my new provider and was prescribed an antibiotic same day. I just felt there was real negligence and disorganization throughout the entire process. There where big red flags and question marks in my head and I would not recommend this route for future mothers to be honest. I will not be coming back.
