Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Paracle

I had a poor experience with Steven Morgan. He was the selling agent and I was on the other end of the deal as a buyer. Steven was unresponsive for 5 days. We were told we would know the outcome of the sale on a Saturday, Sunday night, Monday afternoon, and Monday evening; but did not hear anything. (4 different promises). Our agent had to contact him via multiple calls, text messages, and emails to see what was going on. Tuesday afternoon after more sent calls and messages, he responded its uc. As a first time home buyer, this really affected my outlook on the company, and after reading some of the other reviews, I am not too sure that the sellers were ever presented with our offer.

Steven Morgan has been by far the worst realtor I have ever had the displeasure to work with. Not only has he been rude and abrasive, but he has also hung up on me. In a growing world of realty, his attitude is unacceptable.

Steven Morgan is the worst Realtor that I have had to indirectly work with in any Real Estate transaction. I have completed several deals over the last 20 years as a buyer or seller, but my most recent transaction was very hard and frustrating. This frustration came from Steven's constant lies, miscommunication, and lack of communication. I believe that my Attorney and Realtor both were appalled with his behavior and lack of communication with his seller. As a Realtor he has absolutely not upheld the code of ethics that are required with regards to working with clients and other Realtors. I hope that Better Homes and Gardens looks further into his contracts and negotiations as I can see in the previous reviews I am not the only person who has concerns regarding his work.

Steven Morgan initially gave us a very compelling presentation on having some investors lined up already to give us cash offers on our home as we were wanting to sell quickly. However, there apparently weren't any investors and we had to sell the conventional route which is what we were not wanting to do. It was hard to get him to even send all the offers over so WE could decide on what offer to pick. Communication was very lacking and he didn't come to the closing with us. We are thankful our house sold but his communication and approach were very unprofessional especially not even alerting us to when when inspectors were coming out to the house. However, his assistant Jamie was wonderful and was very helpful. Just word of caution, if you are wanting to sell quickly cash only be cautious of what you believe because more than likely it is too good to be true. Thankful we did have offers and sold but communication with our agent should have been better.

Changes depending on who you get. Jamie Woodward is amazing and incredibly ethical and responsive. Allison McDowell, on the other hand, would shove her grandma down the stairs for a listing then bail when the paramedics showed up. 5 stars for just Jamie, down to 1 with Allison, and a further star down because when you get an Allison, there is nobody to call for help. That said, when I sell my house and buy a new one, Jamie will be my first call.
