You just lost out on four new accounts because of the lack of customer service. I decided to take the new accounts elsewhere. Also seriously contemplating taking my current business elsewhere.

Exceptional Customer Service is far from what you receive from Alger, this Branch needs a new Manager.

I do not trust this bank with my money.
I had a savings account that I didnt use for 3 years and it just maintained a balance.
Recently I re-initiated making deposits - just to have my money being sent to state and my account shut down for inactivity . To my astonishment - per manager it was my fault that I didnt know ALL BANKS WILL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR 5 year inactivity - which is loggin into a portal or making transactions - yet when I updated my information during acquiring information for setting up recurring payments with a tailor - none of it was communicated nor any changes - address and name have been applied. I havent received communication, never got new card when old one expired, their system failed 3 times to update my mailing address and l stuff doesnt even know what they are doing to do it right.
Now I have to get my money from state that is taking ridiculously long time - and I never even got an apology from the stuff/ branch manager for the mess they have caused.
I do not recommend anyone this bank - not a place I would trust with my money.
I have to wait for 5 months now to get my savings back.
