It is upsetting to me to read the poor reviews given on Intrim Health Care. They are the only company we feel comfortable using. Both my husband and myself have used many of their services such as PT, OT, and nursing. Excellent. Now my husband has entered Into the home hospice care program with Intrim. We have had nothing but kind, caring excellent service from all but one staff member and she was replaced immediately.

Gave a 1 Star because there is not a Zero. The "Therapist" (and that description comes no where close to my true feelinsgs) came the first visit spent less than 15 min and asked me questions and said he would be back the next week-----No certain days or estimated time were given. We stayed home all day Monday and part of Tuesday when my husband decided to get me out and go get something to eat. We got me in the car and the guy drives in the driveway. We get out and get to our front porch. He asked a couple of questions and then said he wanted tto watch me go down the steps-----no instructions on how so I did and he said I was doing it wrong. Proceeds to tell me what I did wrong and said he would see me in a couple of days. Still no day or estimated time. 10 minutes tops for that visit. And off he went. On Thursday around 10am my phone rings and he said he was in my driveway and wanted to come in. I told him he would have to wait til I could manage to get up and get dressed, as I am a recent Stroke patient, I knew it would take a few minutes. When he came in he said we needed to go to the kitchen. He told me to stand in front of and hold onto the sink. I did. He told me to raise each of my legs as far as possible 10 times. Which I did. Very hard but did it. You got it----5 minutes tops and he was out the door. 30 minutes and I will be generous and expand to 45 minutes, in 3 visits, Nothing done and certainly not accomplished. I am sure my Insurance Co was billed for up to 3 hours. I will dispute their claim once I get my EOB. Early on Monday my husband phoned and Canceled him and his services. The lady asked Why and my husband told her. In less than 5 minutes the guy called and asked my husband Why and my husband told him. He went to say something else and my husband told him that his question had been answered and hung up. That was for PT. The Company NEVER contacted us or sent anyone out on the OT and ST orders. The Company may be OK but we will NEVER use them again. They need to do follow up calls about the people they employee. Not a good impression in our book nor others who we have told and knows us.

My mother has terminal lung cancer. I would NOT recommend Interim to take of a sick cat, much less any human being that you love and care about. The nurses were very kind and I had no issue with the nursing staff, but getting medical supplies was a constant concern and stress. My mother required drain kits for her chest tube, which needed to be drained daily, and Interim acted as though they were paying for the kits. In fact, I was so stressed and worried, I personally paid $65 per kit on Amazon to ensure that I had medical supplies to care for my mother. Please save your family the stress and worry and choose another home health company.
