Tuesday 13, September 2022, the young lady working in the night shift did something that Im still trying to figure out why, Im a 45 years old woman who pretty often buy my cigarettes, I always always put my Id in the counter before they ask for it, out of courtesy, today my daughter who is 17 and dont have any vice that I know of went inside the store with me, we were talking to each other in Spanish because is our mother language, anyway, when I asked the clerk for my cigarette she asked for my daughter if, I couldnt understand why, if Im the one buying the cigarettes and Ive done it several times before Im that store she needed my daughter Id, she repeatedly said it was because my daughter came inside the store with me, so what ? Yes she is with me because is my daughter and came with me, she keep insisting that she had to ask for the whole party ids, so I sent my daughter to the car to wait for me there, didnt worked, she keep asking for my 17 years old daughter is, to finish the story I got mad, I asked the guy who is with her tonight youve seen me buying cigarettes here before? To what he responded several times still did not matter, this woman said that because my daughter was inside the store with me and we were talking she couldnt sell me my cigarettes unless I showed her my daughter Id, I for one Im not coming back there ever, to my understanding all the problem was that we were talking in Spanish. Hate to say it but was plain a simple discrimination.
