image Quality pools save the day with our swimming pool project. we first hired another company to do our pool, Cascade Custom Pools They dug a hole and took $35, 000 from us. And never came back. After trying to get the other company to return our calls for 3 months. We hired quality custom pools and landscaping. They came in and did a beautiful Job!! They're crews paid such attention to detail and truly did quality work. When we were looking for a pool company we only looked at Google reviews. I encourage you to look at thier rating on Better business Bureau , BBB. If we would have done that with the 1st company that we hired we would not have been ripped off. Quality Custom Pools is a reputable company that does great work!

image Quality Pools and Spas, Landscaping & Design were fantastic to work with from the initial design stage until we were filling up the pool. I have been in this area for over 30 years and work for a large commercial contractor. My wife and I went back and forth during the design phase with Bill (The Owner) who was very patient with us. Bill made sure our final choice was exactly what we had dreamed of.
We also live in the "City Limits" of Myrtle Beach in an old portion of Pinelakes Estates. Our home was built in 1967 so I have had plenty of dealings with the City Permit folks on other things.
Bill handled that entire process of submitting, dealing with a sewer line item that came up and I was really impressed and thankful for that. He worked with them closely and also came up with a solution to slightly angle to pool to meet the City Needs and you can't even tell from the drawings that its slightly different.
To me that was huge keeping the project moving forward and my kids were doing cannon balls right in line w the schedule. Above all else the Team from start to finish were really easy to work with. The end result was fantastic and we had some other small items come up during construction I thought for sure would be a change order / additional cost and that wasn't the case.
We am super happy with Bill and his Team and even on the Service side, maintaining and asking questions they are wonderful. I recommend them 110% and this was the best investment we have made for our family. We have and will continue to build memories as our kids grow up. Thank you to Bill, and the Team at Quality. Y'all are Rock Stars!!!!
My last advice for you future pool owners, make sure you install a flag pole system for neighbors. Flag Up Open Swim - Flag Down Not Open Swim....Thank you Again Al McC

image I am writing this review with a heavy heart and a DRAINED POOL of patience. My experience with Quality Pools & Spas has been nothing short of a nightmare. This review is not out of spite, but out of a sense of duty to help others avoid the stress and disappointment I experienced. This company's lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and subpar workmanship are simply unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering a pool installation or service to steer clear of this company. Save yourself the headache and find a company that values its customers and takes pride in its work. Quality Pools & Spas has left me feeling cheated and disappointed.
I found myself in an undeserved and uncomfortable standoff between My builder who agreed Quality Pools should have accessed the job before contract was finalized and the companies owner whose defense was that the builder should have told them about the yard dimensions. My home is only a 30 min drive from Quality Pools office. Again I should have never been caught in the middle of anything and This was a direct result of their lack of due diligence and poor communication. It was an incredibly stressful situation that I was unfairly dragged into. I was left to mediate a dispute that was not of my making, all while dealing with the delays and disruptions this caused to my project.
My interactions with the company's owner were unfortunately marked by rudeness, dismissiveness, and a lack of respect. The owner's demeanor was unprofessional and discourteous, creating a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. I was deeply unsettled by the subtle yet persistent undertones that permeated our conversations. It was a disconcerting experience that left me questioning the company's commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
During one of the final communication exchanges, there was a malfunction with my pool equipment. I requested company come over to view my concern before I released the final payment. The owner threatened to come to my home and remove all equipment and demanded pay before accessing any equipment. Reader, Im not making this up!
The owner's threat to remove the pool equipment was the final straw in this disastrous experience. This kind of intimidation and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. It not only added to the stress and anxiety I was already feeling, but it also further eroded any trust I had in the company. This threat demonstrated a complete lack of respect for me as a customer and was a clear indication of the company's poor business practices.
To add insult to injury, the company failed to communicate with me upon the completion of the project. I was left in the dark, not knowing whether the work had been finished or not. Furthermore, the team showed a complete disregard for cleanliness and respect for my property. They left behind a mess, including leaving the manuals outside, exposed to the elements. The manuals, which I assume were meant to guide me on how to maintain and operate my new pool, were damaged by the rain. This lack of communication and carelessness is unacceptable and unprofessional.
Spending $120k is a significant investment, and for that amount of money, one would expect exceptional service and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was far from satisfactory. Despite the substantial amount I spent, I was treated poorly and with a lack of respect.
I am more than willing to provide the numerous emails that highlight the owner's lack of respect and professionalism. These correspondences clearly demonstrate the dismissive and rude behavior I had to endure throughout this process. They serve as a testament to the poor customer service and unprofessional conduct of this company. I believe they will provide valuable insight for anyone considering doing business with this company.
I would strongly advise anyone considering a pool installation or service to steer clear of Quality Pools & Spa.
