We had a new Carrier AC/Heat pump installed in February, 2018 by East palmetto.
We had our first issue with the unit in the summer of 2018. They had to come out twice to fix the problem, which ended up being a bad circuit board.
The second issue occurred in February of 2019. The heat pump stopped working.
East palmetto came out twice to try and fix it but were not able to get the unit working properly. Now they have stopped responding to our requests for service. The last three times that I have called them they have either said that they would get back to me and then never called me back or said that someone would be out to look at the unit and then no one shows up!
They obviously don't know how to fix our issue and have just given up.
Cannot recommend East palmetto or Carrier equipment at this point. We have contacted Carrier customer service at least six times and they have done nothing for us either!
If you need a new AC/ heating unit go with a Trane. Carrier has gone way downhill!
