There are no words to describe my disappointment with this arrangement. I called three weeks in advance (so no excuse). They had more than enough time to order these roses from their supplier or cut them from a backyard. The order was paid in full $300 ( over n above the quoted price). I gave a little extra for whoever would do the delivery n we agreed on a couple of white lilies to complete the look. The goal was to overwhelm my 92 year old mother with 4 dozen yellow roses. After the agreed arrangement they suggest adding yellow balloons. I though they would be a nice finishing touch… as u can see there are no yellow balloons n no white lilies. The roses were limp and just thrown in the “pricey†vase I paid for . If you think this is worth $300 by all means order away. However I will never use them again nor will I recommend. Overall the arrangement is ok, but it’s not the 4 dozen rose arrangement I asked for.

Had an issue with my order delivery. I went by the shop to check on it and the issue was figured out in a timely matter and was able to get my basket made quickly and I’m sure she’ll like it. Thank y’all

If I could give a 0 I would. Horrible!! I ordered online in 7-13-2021 at 11:30. They assured me they would be delivered by 6pm. Called 4 times to verify only to have to call back a 5th time at 5:45pm to find out they couldn’t deliver them. Asked why they couldn’t tell me that earlier so I could order from somewhere else. Nothing not to mention my $100 flowers went up to $140 Worst customer service ever!!! Now a waiting game to see when and if I get my money back.

My letter to Carolyn's is publicaly shared below as a testimony to Carolyn's Flowers and Gifts: Carolyn's Flowers & Gifts 2917 1/2 Millwood Avenue Columbia S.C. 29205 9/15/2021 Good Evening, I am writing this to you in an effort to pay homage to Chuck Delaney, with whom I had the recent pleasure of meeting and conducting business with. Let me start by saying, if there were classifications assigned to florists, I would undoubtedly ascribe to Chuck Delaney a "PhD. In Flowery " , if such a designation existed. When I met Chuck (please pardon the familial reference being used), it was coupled with the unfortunate death of my beloved mother. While obtaining a casket spread for Ma, Chuck entered the picture and assured me that he could and would produce an outstanding arrangement. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical as we New Yorkers tend to be however, I relented and allowed Chuck to do what he does. I do not profess to have any knowledge of floral artistry, selection, arrangement etal. However I have been and continue to be a very discerning customer (in excess of 30 years) with my local florist who regularly produces arrangements for my Wife. Being who I am I reached out to Leevy's Funeral Home and was advised that Chuck had contacted them and inquired about Ma's casket color (great sign, due diligence being performed, thumbs up) Fast forward to Ma's viewing, when I arrived to examine Ma and "approve", I noticed no casket spread, although I had been cautioned that my short notice to Carolyn's may result in the casket spread not being there when I arrived to approve, but I was assured it would be there prior to public viewing. Given my emotional state I'd forgotten that detail and called Chuck who answered immediately and assured me the casket spread would be there shortly. Lo and behold, no sooner did I hang up and in walks Chuck and some others, all of whom were delivering flowers sent for Ma. Additionally, there was the casket spread. Being at one of the lowest possible moments in my life and admittedly not to far from there today than I was then, I was not In a good place at all. However, when I saw what Chuck Delaney did with Ma's casket spread, thinking to myself that all he knew was Ma's casket color yet here before me was a casket spread created by Chuck Delaney that dare I say lifted my broken heart and brought me some similance of happiness in seeing what Dr. Chuck Delaney, PhD. Produced on such short notice. As I said I saw Ma before the casket spread and I'd swear that Ma's smile was even a bit more pronounced after Dr. Chuck placed the spread on Ma's casket. WOW. This brings me back to my original point. Flowers are often used for various intents, sometimes to help heal, convey sympathy, express love, beg forgiveness, on and on and on. In as much as a Doctor would prescribe medicine for healing, what Dr. Chuck did not only exceeded his initial pronouncement of producing an outstanding casket spread, his work as I mentioned momentarily eased an aching heart and broadened a passed loved ones smile. I don't know about you but I sure don't know of nor have I heard of anyone else achieving such a feat solely through their creativity, ingenuity, artistry and whatever else Dr. Chuck sprinkled in there. This is a very long winded yet purposeful way of expressing my deepest heartfelt THANK YOU to Dr. Chuck Delaney as well as Carolyn's Flowers and Gifts for having such a talented genius on staff. This in no way should impart any suggestions about Carolyn's other staff personnel . Just know that I am only able to attest to what I know. And what I know is that when you work with Carolyn's Flowers and Gifts, If the Doctor is in the house and he gets your job, best hold on and be prepared to have your floral world rocked. To that I can attest and if letters of testimony are required for consideration of conferment of the PhD in Flowery, let my letter serve as the initial attestation. Thank You Dr. Chuck Delaney, my family and I are eternally grateful ðŸ™
