If you are a MALE initiating a divorce, fighting for custody, and being put on child support unjustly, then run far from Cordell & Cordell in which who claims to be for the justice of fathers. In my observation of my assigned attorney Mackenzie Pearson, I noticed that she as well as a previous lawyer I hired from another firm, had no fight at all for me as a male client in my extremely unfair divorce case. During the discussions of my case AFTER hiring her, all of her suggestions for my court case were to basically sit like a dog and do what the defendant and her lawyer says in a divorce that I initiated, the same as previous lawyer. Mackenzie allowed me to sign documents that went against my rights as a father due to lack of knowledge (which is the reason you hire a lawyer supposedly). She would not do more than the bare minimum for my case. My case was not an extremely difficult matter and I was very patient with this attorney. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this lawyer or this law firm for MALE divorce representation.

I came to this lawfirm when I thought I had nothing left. I was then given the pleasure to have Stephanie Smith as an attorney! She's exactly what these reviews said she was. She lives up to every bit of good energy and hype. She's represented me since day one! Stephanie was the best lawyer I could've asked for. She truly was professional, courageous, caring and brutally honest & real with me. Even when I didn't want to hear it. I know she truly fought for me and my son. She never gave up. No matter how many times I called her with anxiety through the roof or panicking. She always communicated well, kept me informed and settled my nerves. This was a long fight to me and she took every step with me and for me and my son! I'm thankful to have met her, to have had her as my attorney. She delivered exactly with I wanted and wished for as an outcome! Dad's we're at a disadvantage so they say, if you're wondering about hiring this firm. Don't wonder just do it!
