Bright Horizons at University of South Carolina

Dont waste your time. They dont advertise anywhere that they only allow people from the university there. I looked for some sort of qualifier online, didnt find anything, so I submitted a request for information about availability and pricing. I get an email asking to schedule a tour, so you wouldnt let someone tour if youre filled up, right? Wrong. I figured cool, I got an email to proceed, so lets do this! I can find out about pricing after I see the place. I got 3-4 confirmation emails reminding me about my appointment. Day of the appointment, I drove the 25 minutes there and as soon as my child and I set foot in the door, he started bawling for no reason. Obviously he could sense the bad vibes too. We waited a little while for our tour guide and only then did they ask if we qualified to be there by being a student or staff at the school. I said no, so their next move was to tell me theyre at capacity already. Seriously, two strikes in a row? Not looking good, folks. Strike three was them telling me I could get on the wait list, but Id continue to be bumped if people from the school got on the wait list. All three strikes were within 1 minute of our tour starting. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars is cause they told me a website I can try finding other daycares on. All of this could have been avoided if theyd simply responded to my initial question instead of forcing me to schedule a pointless tour.

I am so grateful that my son started with Ms. Marilyn 6 years ago, after being on the waitlist for a little over a year and a half. We were having some quality of care, injury, illness issues at another center and once we moved to BH@USC all issues stopped. My daughter has been with the center since she was 3 months old (aside from the COVID gap). We have been blessed as a family by your caring staff and robust processes. As a mother, I have peace of mind knowing my children are in great hands and are being well cared for while I'm at work. Mr. Leslie is a phenomenal director - he leads an engaged, caring, and competant team. From Ms. Connie's loving touch for 1 year olds, to Ms. Sherri's kindergarten prep curriculum, to Mr. Terrance's nutritious meals each person brings a unique set of skills and passion to their role. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your team has prepared my kids well for their next step to kindergarten, both academically and socially!

We absolutely love Bright Horizons USC! We moved our son after a bad experience at another daycare. We love the team and have kicked ourselves that we didnt send him there all along. Our son has grown leaps and bounds and absolutely loves the staff. We are extremely thankful for them and would highly recommend!
