Evan Franklin Ekman, MD

Dr. Ekman is very professional and gives all the details of your surgery. He made sure I understood the procedure and what to expect after the surgery. When I arrived at MUSC - Lancaster, his staff, from MUSC, Chester, was with him. They were very kind, caring, professional, and made me feel relaxed. In the holding area, Dr. Ekman came to greet me and again told me the procedure and asked me if I had any questions. He was exactly what I had hoped for. I met the Anesthesiologist and Anesthetist and I felt like I was in wonderful hands. When I arrived in the OR, all his staff from Chester OR, were there and worked very well together and I felt as though I was in the best of care. I walked out of the hospital and have been walking around the house with very little pain. I highly recommend Dr. Ekman and the Chester (MUSC) hospital staff. Of course I got to see all my friends from MUSC (Lancaster). They are always friendly, professional and nice. Shout out to Derrick. Dr. Ekman is a wonderful doctor. He is a very caring man. His staff is just as caring and compassionate. I will not go anywhere else for services.
