This is a very good history in museum in a very cool place. It is right above the Charleston market.

A piece of history that I had not been familiar with. Very informative.

I really regret spending $7 on admission. If I had known that money would go to United Daughters of the Confederacy, I definitely would not have. I can't believe the city is comfortable with renting this public building to confederate apologists. But I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. To be avoided unless you're comfortable donating your money to an organization whose mission is to "honor and perpetuate the memory and deeds of high principles of the men and women of the Confederacy."
