    Terrible service!! I was referred to the clinic after going to an Orthopedic doctor within RSF network for severe neck and back pain. The front desk at the spine clinic had trouble verifying my insurance and said did not have the referral so they rescheduled my appointment for this week. The Orthopedic and my PCM sent the referral again and I am retired active military with full health insurance. The front desk still refused to schedule appointment until they can confirm in their system. Then I was told by the front desk that since I had my MRI outside of RSF I would also need medical report from the imaging center. I told her I had a copy of the disk and that is what I was told to bring by the Orthopaedic doctor who referred me and she said that they still could not schedule appointment!!

    We came for the appointment that was scheduled in advanced via office phone and guess what? They didn't have it scheduled...Doctor also was gone already for the day. There is no customer service where to send my anger

    My husband had been bedridden with back & leg pain for weeks when we were finally able to get in to see a surgeon here. The staff (which takes 15 minutes of waiting on the phone to even reach) told us to go to the West Ashley location which I confirmed multiple times with different staff over the phone. When we showed up to that visit after a painful 40 minute drive, they told us the doctor was at the Summerville location and blamed us for the mistake! Then after we had to reschedule due to this error and wait another week for an appointment, I witnessed the same thing happen to an elderly woman in the waiting room - they told her the wrong address for her appointment and then blamed her! The front desk staff said when she left, "she probably wasn't listening when they told her the location" which is not true because it's obviously a recurring problem and the woman said she never would have agreed to the downtown location. That aside, when we were finally able to see the surgeon after all that, he glanced at my husband's MRI and said he should just wait it out and do more injections to see if it heals on its own (despite him being in pain for more than 5 months and getting to the point where his foot, ankle, and lower leg were going numb). He also had a condescending attitude. Needless to say, we did not get care from Roper and when my husband did do surgery with MUSC, the surgeon there said it's a good thing he got surgery because his sciatic nerve was being cut into and pinned by a herniated disc that had solidified (it would not have healed on its own!). Do not come here if you want to be treated with care and respect.

After holding for 10 minutes, I was able to listen to their recorded message numerous times, and they advertise same day appointments available. Even though I was In tears due to severe neck pain the earliest appointment they could get me in was 3 weeks away. Awesome.
