Coming from a Base that didn't have a brick-and-mortar library, I love that there is one here! Selection is on par with the local libraries and the catalog is smaller but in most cases, the books are better cared for. Plus, I love all the comfortable seating.

Facility is clean and has a wide variety of material to choose from. The staff is friendly and kind. Great library, especially for kids.

It's still my favorite part of being stationed at Charleston. Definitely check it out if you haven't already.

Im sure its a wonderful place, staff was kind. But I went in to study after multiple signs around base said they were open again for specific hours. I wish the signs would have said open with restrictions because it seems the only service they have right now is call ahead book orders. So dont be misled by the signs like I was, its only open for limited service, and I advise calling ahead to see if theyre able to help with what you need before driving on base.
