Great location. Lots of places to eat and an easy walk to historic sites. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared... The quaint old freight elevator is in the back by the parking. Priced right for area but not the $79 I see on the internet (not sure where that came from). Pretty clean and safe location. Easy to walk everywhere and only a few minutes to the free shuttle!

The location couldn't have been better if you like to be in the middle of things and don't mind walking to things that are a little further away. If you do mind, ride-shares and bike taxis are plentiful from this location. As others have noted, it is very quiet despite its vicinity to bars frequented by local college kids. That's because it has only one window, and it faces a private parking lot. The communication with the management team was good except for one snafu about the parking passes upon arrival. Once i explained the situation and that we had already paid for the passes, all was well. I docked a star on cleanliness because the stairwell leading down to king street looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in awhile. I docked another star because of the mattress in the bedroom closet to the entrance. Do yourself a favor and don't strip the bed of the mattress cover. You don't want to see that nightmare.
