My family and I enjoyed our time at this Marriott! The front desk team was especially very kind and welcoming! A special shootout to Michelle at the Front Desk. She really went above and beyond to cater for our many requests. Thank you Michelle! Walkability: It's near a lot of restaurants and there's a small shopping mall that's right around the corner.

Bonvoy Elite Status recognized at check-in. Rooms were clean and property was well kept. Staff was friendly and attentive. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Will definitely come back next time.

Stay was for 8 days. According to Marriott policy, housekeeping should be received every other day, we never saw anyone, and repeatedly had to ask for towels and bathroom tissue. Additionally, the door broke halfway through our trip so we were unable to get into our room without waiting for maintenance to let us in. Spoke to the front desk to request service multiple times, as well as contacted corporate. Did not help, local management did not respond to any of our attempts to reach out to them. If you are staying here bring extra towels and bathroom tissue. Also be ready to be waiting for staff to let you in. We were not the only folks here with door issues. By advice, stay away! So many options in the area! Rooms: Mattresses not as comfortable as we were hoping. Pull out was horrible, ended up more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Main room TV never worked the entire time. Bathroom tissue fixtures were broken as well. Nearby activities: So many local things to do! Folly beach is great fun, Angel Tree and Charleston Tea Garden to name a few! Safety: Door broke, so that was concerning. Limited our access, and was nervous the deadbolt might engage since its not working correctly. Noteworthy details: Breakfast was standard fare, however when things run out, staff was hard to find. Two mornings I found myself in the employee kitchen to look for juice refills and signing through cabinets for more bowels for folks.
