PawMed Veterinary Urgent Care

My primary vet was booked solid yesterday, so I brought my cattle dog Maggie to PawMed because she was wetting herself every time she sat or laid down. We were greeted warmly and Maggies vitals were taken. Dr Thomas examined her and examined her urine specimen. She ordered an antibiotic, a small amount of pain medication and some medical wipes. Dr Thomas and I agreed that given Maggies plentiful fur, that they needed to give her a little trim, to allow me to care for her area properly! Everyone who helped us was professional, compassionate and absolutely delightful to both Maggie and me. Maggie is taking her medicine, and I am encouraged that she is improving after yesterdays visit. I am so grateful for Dr. Thomas and her dedicated staff for their conscientious and compassionate care of my beloved dog. During our travels, we encountered an emergency situation with our 10-week-old puppy. Our experience at PawMed surpassed all expectations. From reception to support staff and doctors, everyone demonstrated exceptional empathy and professionalism. The facility's cleanliness was notable, and their top-tier care for our puppy left a lasting impact. We enthusiastically recommend their services. After being highly recommended by a few friends , we took our big boy River in for a horrible cough..From the time I walked in to check him in , the front desk assistant was super attentive and nice and more importantly made us feel very welcome there, which gave me a sense of confidence we made the right choice. After all the intake stuff , we got in the room fairly quickly for it being a walk in urgent care and on a Sunday afternoon at that. Finally Dr Carly Conrad came in to meet our boy & check him out and clearly verified that we made the absolute best decision to come there! You can tell she loves animals and that she truly wants the best for them. She never once tried to push any unnecessary test on us for our boy , she actually told us what she thought could be going on and our options and let us decide on further testing. We decided to do some X-rays to give us a better idea of what his diagnosis might be. Once all that was done she explained everything to us and answered all the questions we had with patience and compassion. I highly recommend PawMed for any of your fur babies urgent care needs. Thank you so much for giving us a sense of direction and relief in our Rivers care Dr Conrad and her staff! They were top notch in customer service /patient care and you can tell they all love what they do by the amazing passion they have for animals!! Ohhh and River loved every single one of you there!

After being treated so poorly by our first choice in veterans, we were SOOOOO happy coming here! The staff is quick and nice and the two veterans weve seen so far are absolutely fantastic! Its so nice to be seen for the animals and not the dollar sign behind the visit!!!
