I had my annual physical with Dr. Stroupe. I checked in at 1:04, got to the room at 1:15 and my appointment was at 1:20. I let the nurse know that I had a concern about my shoulders and I went in complete details of the pain. At 2:02 Dr. Stroupe entered the room and told me that looking at my shoulders would be a separate appointment. She asked if I wanted her to do my physical or look at my shoulders? I am already upset about the time, I simply say physical. She slowly asks me the same questions I have already answered in my precheck-in. Then she looks in my ears, listens to my heart and lungs, hits my elbows and knees and feels my stomach. She is done and asks me if I have any questions. I check my phone it's 2:14; I am angry. I recount the times and events to her and how I think it's crazy that she couldn't take a few minutes to look at my shoulders. She apologized for being late, she said she went over time with 2 sick patients before me and that her looking at my shoulders is not covered by insurance for an annual physical visit so I would need to make a sick appointment and tells me the two appointments are different. I could better understand if I was asking for a X-ray but she wouldn't even look at my shoulders. I said I would just go somewhere else after this visit then she said "I hate for you to have make two appointments"; exactly what she was making me do. When it was obvious I wasnt making a second appointment with her she gave me recommendations, first for someone else there then outsiders. I lost complete trust in her as a doctor this visit. Its sad when a doctor puts making money before the pain of a patient. She WAS my primary and my gyno. Now I can't trust any of the visits I have had with her. What if she didn't tell me something was wrong just so I would eventually have to make a sick appointment? More visits = more money

Quick service friendly staff however I have been trying to get a med refilled since 1/4/24 pharmacy's are on back order which I understand and also it's patients responsibility to try and call around to find the medication which I did however Walgreens will not tell me if it's in stock due to being a controlled substance so I called and informed the office which I got a reply with Walgreens have enough in stock it's been called into there the next day I go the pharmacy states they don't have rx and also its not in stock. Again that's fine then I call to advise the office and I get back it's my responsibility to call and find med, which i understand. So on the hunt again found brand name at ingles which informed office they tried to get PA, many thanks to the office. Then I check on status of PA after 5 days and I get back again it's my responsibility to call around and find meds. I get it!! That's what I have been doing and I will continue to do but no reason to keep saying it I'm grown I understood the first time. So on the hunt again I'm not calling the office for any help other than I found the med please call in. If pharmacy won't tell me anything I'll just wait for the ones that will.
