Phenomenal experience overall. Needed to get fully tested and examined for STDs, which I've never done before outside of my gynecologist. Needless to say I was nervous. Made an appointment, and the woman on the phone (I want to say her name began with an R) was short and slightly rude. When I told her I needed a STD screening she said with a bit of an attitude, "you said what?" This was the only negative part of my experience, which made me a bit more nervous about my appointment. I arrived 10 mins beforehand. The woman at the desk was very sweet. Paperwork was one sheet and wait time upon arrival was minimal, I waited about 10 mins past my appointment time. Had to bring an ID and proof of income. Laura the intake admin was so friendly and understanding. She processed my intake and urine sample quickly and thoroughly. She answered all of my questions. Waited about 30 more mins to see Nurse Practicioner Katrina. She was again very thorough, friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions, took her time, and performed my exam, swab test, and blood draw very professionally. She has a pleasant sense of humor aswell. I was given a treatment cream, and after all was said and done, I didnt pay a penny! (Well besides my tax dollars at work.) All around I was blown away by my experience. Don't hesitate to come here for your sexual health and WIC needs! Everyone I met genuinely cared and was extremely helpful.

Called to make an appointment and the lady was so disgustingly rude that I was appalled. Dont go here, they will treat you like you are a problem to them and yell at you for asking a question. Just because you hate your life and your job doesnt mean that you need to take it out on other people. AVOID HERE AT ALL COSTS. Just go to the Beaufort location, they are a lot nicer.

We had an experience that surpassed any other physician appointment. Tina the nurse was beyond helpful and kind. The front desk employee was so friendly. We were amazed. Thank you to all of the health dept employees!!

Can't even call without being yelled over. I wish I knew who it was, but she was very rude the entire time. I called to ask about a vaccine and/or to make an appointment and the woman on the phone yelled over me the entire time. She was so focused on yelling over me that she didn't bother to listen to me after asking a question. This resulted in her asking the same question over and over. She even tried to scold me about how I should have known to get this vaccine when this information was new to me. I understand why the ratings are low now.
