We highly recommend Dan Anton as a phenomenal realtor in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Dan helped our family of four find our "perfect forever home." We began working with Dan in early summer 2023. Dan utilized superb active listening to ensure he was fully aware of not only the needs, but desires of our family in a forever home. Our situation was unique in that we did not have to move, but desired a different floor plan, aesthetics, outdoor space, etc. Dan understood this and respected our wishes to take our time surveying the market, viewing a variety of different homes he not only sent us electronically, but ones we visited with him in person. Dan was not the least bit pushy for us to make a decision; he was extremely patient as we did our due diligence not to "settle" on just any home. Dan is extremely responsive to calls, text messages, and e-mails. He is also transparent about his schedule, and if he is going to be unavailable, always ensures there is a contact for the buyer if needed while he is away. Dan isn't a realtor who "disappears" after closing. He has stayed in contact to assist in anyway he possibly can, even in areas outside of "realtor" expertise (i.e., IT questions). Dan also provides feedback and recommendations on what you need to do as a buyer to ensure you get the contract on your desired home. He has the courage to provide that feedback even if it is counterintuitive to the plan you may have as a buyer. In our situation, he encouraged us to put the offer on our new home without it being contingent on the sale of our departure home as he was afraid we would not get a contract. He assured us he would do everything he could to get our departure home sold quickly (which came to fruition). Dan is extremely personable and works with the "entire" family. He was always willing to play any imaginative role our kids wanted him to play while looking at homes. He was also extremely patient with us and our kids when we looked at homes as a family. With two young children, that can obviously be loud and wild, but he truly understands the importance of the children being comfortable with their new home, neighborhood, and space.
