    I never write reviews. Never. But Andrew was so impressive I had to write this. Firstly I called him on Tuesday morning at 7:30 in the middle of busy summer season and he moved mountains to squeeze me into his busy schedule. I had an urgent situation as it was windy and I was heading down to Daytona beach from Hilton head on an 18' flats boat with a non working bulge pump. Andrew showed up just a couple hours later and fixed the bilge right away and as a bonus he also fixed both of my live wells!! A superstar. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend!!

    I had problem with my lower unit which does not go into reverse fully. Although I tried to adjust the shifter (this was the only thing I could think of), it did not work. I decided to try him with 2 reasons. 1. he told me he had an idea that he could fix easily but not with guaranty when I explained the problem 2. I could get him work in my garage instead of bring my boat to any shop. He showed up late in the dark. (I let him come because I gave him my trust). For an hour, all he tried was what I exactly tried already and he could not fix it. By the way, I was there and helped him all the way. (he could spend much more time if he did by himself and I do want to give him more money just for more time). His solution was to get different mercury cables which can adjust both ends (I am still not sure if such cable is available for mercury). I paid $100 for it. He told me he would bring me the cables. So, I decided to try. A couple of days later, I found his text a few minutes later that he wanted to stop by to check the measurement. I said ok. But, never got his answer and anything from him. I could not just wait for him. A week later, I visited Mercury dealer and explained my problem. The mercury tech said its not about the shift adjustment but inside of the lower unit. I confirmed it with another marine mechanic. Andrew did not say anything about the internal problem, but just held his opinion about the cables through. I contacted him and asked refund because of his wrong diagnosis (I am not responsible for the wrong diagnosis fees right?). No answer for two weeks now. I don't think he will respond. Here is the reason I give him the lowest review. 1. I did not experience his professionalism. He was pretty much about my level when it comes to the knowledge, experience, and skills at least for my problem. 2. He was not quite responsible as its hard to get an answer in timely manner. 3. I wish he could say something when I discussed about the refund with reasons. I just wasted my money and time for nothing. He did not do anything good for me other than reminding me my cables are short than suggested length. (but it is not the point) For the reasons above, I do not recommend him for your boat.

    A friendly notification not to hire Andrew Breeckner to repair your boat. He has $693 worth of parts my boat needs which I paid him for on 8/2/18. He now doesn't have the time or inclination or honesty to repair my 18 ft SeaRay or even deliver the parts to East Coast Marine so that they could perform the job. In spite of numerous options, times and requests for delivery of my boat parts, Andew Breeckner continues to blame his new teaching Marine Electronics teaching job at the tech school"more important personal," & anything else, for his failure to meet his mobile boat repair obligation to me and deliver what I have already paid for. Take heed if you hire him!

i am sorry i was unable to fix it on the spot, i agreed to return to remove the drive to further diagnose, even though i was unable to fix it at the time my visitation and diagnose must be paid for. i am sorry you were unhappy with the cost, but there several issues going on with the pivot. that need attenion before you could move forward. You must understand the vist was not free and i discounted it as well due to the fact is was not fixed then. Its hurtful and wrong, fore you to write such a review, i discovered water in gear case blown pivot bearings shift shaft damage and multiple other issues. I always let you know upfront cost from the start.sorry for your trouble, and inconvenience i caused you, but you did not want to here the fact that there was many issues wrong. With then engine i offered a free new cable if needed, to help you with cost and you still think i was not helpful, this is why i never returned your call. I wish you the best in lifethanksAndrew

All parts were given to customer, as promised . I do not appreciate people who try to put others down the full deposit was never given(receipts will show such)yet she still received all parts. Even though they wernt all payed for. But it's ok wish her the best some people are just inpatient.
