Richard Kook with Berkshire Hathaway just sold my bluff villa at 2004 Bluff Villa Road for $340,000, a record breaking price for a Bluff Villa on Dataw Island. Other established realtors recommended listing for $60,000 - $80,000 lower despite other properties on Dataw selling at all time record highs. Richards energized perspective was a welcome change to other realtors indifferent approach. Richard invested the time to explain the unique characteristics that provide additional value in comparison with other comparable properties and proposed a strong marketing strategy in light of the current real estate market (he initially presented us with an even more aggressive marketing plan but we were looking for a quick sale and decided to list it at a bargain price). Richard and his wife Heidi have worked with us ever since I purchased the villa back in 2007. Richards ability to utilize Heidis rental investment skills as part of his team proved to be invaluable in selling potential buyers on the investment potential and the ability to have the property pay for itself. Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were kept informed throughout the entire process. He was able to sell my home in a quick manner for top dollar. Mr. Richard Kook worked diligently to find us the perfect match for our family. After our first meeting with Richard Kook, my wife and I immediately knew that he was a realtor whom we could trust and who completely knew the Sea Islands and Beaufort area , which, as out-of-state home purchasers, did not know very well.
