GRAB A BITE

Place was ok. Salad bar is decent. The pizza is sub par for a one off pizza shop. Had better at gas stations. Service was impeccable with nice family feel atmosphere. Next time I'll skip pizza and see what the menu has to offer...

We heard about this place on Facebook and decided to try it out. The service and atmosphere are great and the food is delicious! A little salad bar and pizza buffet with different types of pizza. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza is to die for! The cheeseburger pizza tastes just like a cheeseburger! We wish the owners the best and hope they hang around for many years to come! It will definitely be one of our new lunch spots when we're in Batesburg!

May 2023. Great pizza and a fun family running this recently-opened restaurant. Heather and her kids are building what I hope will be a long legacy here in Batesburg-Leesville. See you next time.

We decided to check this place out because some of the reviews we found described a nice pizza buffet and salad bar and some people on social media described this family business as struggling to survive due to lack of customers. *Note: We are BIG supporters of local family businesses and avoid chain restaurants, so even though we do not live super close to this place, this is why we went!! When we arrived, it was not at all what we were expecting. The "pizza buffet" was extremely small and can only fit 3 medium size pizzas. We are not sure of the actual taste or quality of the pizza, because we never tasted any. The Salad bar had been described as large with a large variety...it was also very small and unimpressive. When we first arrived, we were told to pick any table and decided a corner table looked good. The young man, that was near the entrance when we arrived, joyfully agreed that the corner table was a good choice and then he walked away in the other direction. We walked to the table, it had not been cleaned and still had dirty paper plates and cups on it. We looked to try and tell someone that it was dirty but everyone was busy chatting and did not pay us any attention. We sat down anyway, glanced at the menu for a short bit while awaiting for someone to pay attention that we had sat down at the table. Still no one came back to bus the table or any other acknowledgmen that we were there. We observed another older man continuing to chat with a table near us but he made no attempt to briefly excuse himself from his long conversation to check on us, as new arrivals to the Restaurant. There were about 4 other staff members at the counter, one describing a "to go order" to someone and others just standing there. Also note that the Restaurant was NOT full and there were several available seats so the lack of attention to our arrival was not due to the establishment being busy. After experiencing the lack of attention to our arrival and the tiny pizza and salad buffet choices, that we had been excited about enjoying, we decided to leave. Note: We are both former food service managers, with over 50 years combined experience. In just our short stop by this establishment, it was quite clear on why they are struggling to survive this extremely difficult and competitive restaurant industry. Unfortunately, and sadly, we predicted the inevitable will happen and this business will eventually fold unless they make significant changes soon. *Remember...The Very First Impressions you give your customers is critical to the success of your establishment.
