On Oct.23, 2023 around 10:45am an elderly man (77-83 yr.) walked in or should I say slid in returning a package that had been mailed to his address by mistake. Being elderly and all a couple of his senses weren't up to par. 1st being his hearing. Secondly, even though it's not one of the senses it still pertains to his hearing and that would be his speech levels. NOW... This elderly man tried to explain to the young man with his hat turned around backwards with his vaping mechanism plugged in right there at the front counter, very unprofessional, what had happened with the mail carrier. The young man behind the counter kept interrupting the elderly man while he was trying to explain so in return voices went up 2 or 3 decimals. Only if the young man behind the counter would have just let the elderly man say his peace he would have just left. But NO, the young man raised his voice to the elderly man saying, "you can just leave cause I haven't done anything wrong!" For starters, the elderly man didn't say anything about him doing anything wrong, the elderly man just wanted to finish his side of the story and to make sure NOTHING came back against him. So then the elderly man asked if he could get some kind of receipt saying he actually returned the merchandise. The young man behind the counter said with authority, "NO, I am not giving you a receipt cause you didn't mail or purchase anything!!!" Now, all the young man had to do was write on a piece of paper saying that the elderly man returned the package so he could have some piece of mind knowing he wouldn't get into any trouble. If the young man would respect his elders, cause if that was my dad or grandfather. I'm just saying...
