Very good experience buying a house from DR Horton at the Powderhouse Landing development.Julie Seeby, our sales consultant, was professional, very friendly, & very helpful. She went above & beyond helping us through the house buying process . She kept us informed & updated throughout the whole process which was very helpful .She provided great customer service . Randall Ladd , builder/ construction manager, was professional, friendly & helpful .He went above & beyond making sure our checklist was done & fixed correctly before the final walk through. He explained & made sure that we understood all the features & warranties of the house . Robert another builder was professional, friendly,& very helpful . He went above & beyond helping us . We had been looking for houses in different developments in NC &SC for a while , but as soon as we saw Powderhouse Landing neighborhood , we knew we found our new home . We really like our new house . Great floor plan for us .Nice & quiet family oriented neighborhood & convenient to all restaurants & stores .

Total waste of my time. The representative was flippant and rude, dismissive. DHI Mortgage was great though, qualified me and everything on a weekend. They offered to transfer my file to any DR Horton community, but after the experience with the rep at this one. NO THANKS! Over a year later and this negative experience sticks with me, even the DHI mortgage company turned sour on m because of Her. I was fully qualified credit score over 740 now Very unprofessional. However, now whenever I see DR Horton I say "NEVER DR HORTON!!" Never would I trust you ever! I think this is "typical" for the AIKEN / Augusta area so I can safely count it out as far as a relocation area. The Realtors are just as bad. You come to know the look and feel of an area after a few visits. Do you own due diligence.
