I have always had a hard time finding Mexican food that tastes good and agrees with my system. Over the years I've had a bit of a curse in this department despite still loving the few and far between success stories. Once at a highly rated restaurant I was served a burrito with still frozen beans. Burned food. Undercooked food. Bland food. Food poisoning that landed me on my toilet for hours. So much bad but I soldiered on. The shining star of my Mexican food journey was in the back of a New Jersey convenience store during a road trip. Really played roulette there but it was somehow the best I ever had. Until last Friday. Randomly my partner asked if I wanted tacos. I tentatively agreed. We had been frequeting a different place that I didn't love but also didn't hollow me out. We decided to take a chance on a little place down the street and I ordered bean burrito with rice and tomatoes. Simple, right? Sure. No big risk. I bit in, not even hoping for anything special and my mouth was instantly ecstatic. Each bite was better than the next. This was the best flippin' burrito I had ever tasted. With a mouth full of ecstasy I proclaimed 'this is the best Mexican food I've ever had!' It's been 48 hours and we're going back for more. I guess that's review enough in itself.

I been dieing to go here just because on this side of the world we don't have good Latino restaurants but this gem is delicious I'm happy to say I know the owner and she's a gem and her sister serves was great cozy little spot loved the food, will be returning to keep enjoying.
