The work that RIHI does is very good quality. The windows , doors and vinyl siding were all done by RIHI and the final outcome was great. RIHI is outstanding because when you call for an issue even if it is a year later they respond quickly and correct the problem in record time. We really appreciate all their support and help. Had vinyl siding done by Daniel & Egor. They did a GREAT job & were very professional & pleasant!! They answered any questions or concerns we had during the renovation. I would highly recommend them!!!

Last spring we decided to replace 6 windows in our sunroom and install a sliding glass door to replace a regular door that leads out to our back deck. While I will say that Mike did go in to depth about all the options they had to offer, there was definitely a high pressure sales tactic occurring. To get the initial price he quoted, we essentially had to make a decision with him right then. While we did have 72 hours to recant our signed contract, it was challenging to find other companies to come out and give us competitive quotes in that time frame. He had told us upon signing the contract, that the installation wouldn't happen until September. Understandably, due to short staffing and a delay in material delivery meant it would be a wait for installation.
When they finally scheduled the day for installation, they installers showed up a day prior than the day they said they'd be there. Luckily for me, I am one of 3 adults living in my home. (My father, my husband and myself) My father works nights, so he was there, but I feel for people who are affected by the lack of attention to detail who have to adjust their schedules to allow contractors in to their homes. When they did arrive, they installed one set of 3 windows and the slider. They left that afternoon with the promise to return the next day to finish up. As they were leaving, I requested that when they pulled the other 3 windows, to leave the old windows. They were unaware of those windows, and only after checking the contract at my encouragement were they aware. They returned the next day, but only to pick up the trash they had left in both my back and front yard. Which I normally wouldn't be bothered by, but some of it was their personal trash and they did not remove all of it before leaving. When they returned the next week to finish the job, they had left many things unfinished. Poor caulking job, exposed flashing, ripped screens, windows that wouldn't open properly, as well as just leaving the stickers on the windows, fingerprints all over the windows and dirt on the trim. Normally, I wouldn't sweat the petty things, (fingerprints, stickers, dirt) but if I wanted an amateur window installation, I would have just done it myself.
After contacting the company, they did send a different team out to fix the issues we had. The second team came the next week and did a very good job fixing everything we asked them to. They were much more professional and what I had expected when we initially signed on with RIHI. Bottom line, $11,000 is a lot of money to spend for a 3-4 week ordeal. I truly expected better from this company and based on my experience, I will not be going through them again.
