(Update2): My latest visit was amazing. My hygienist Nico was stellar with creating the perfect crown. Such a happy and positive person. Dr. Dave was professional and personable. I think I'll stay. Thank you guys.
(UPDATE): I was finally able to conclude my visit. Nice people, added a 3rd star for effort, but I will be looking for a new dentist.
I count on reviews heavily to make my choices.
"Laura Ortega" Dentist, had a great review.
She does not work here. I was told she moved to Florida, and casually assigned to some doctor i never heard of, or read any reviews about. He was very professional, but also very cold in his manner.
The hygienist was "absent" and my appointment couldn't be completed. I was told to reschedule that portion of my appointment, "free of charge". My first attempt to reschedule, was met with a very pleasant and complimentary young man, who assured me he could get me in "later that day" and said he would call me back. After 2 days, I tried again, I was successful, or so i thought. My appointment was confirmed by there "text system" I called their office, to reconfirm, the day before the appointment. One hour prior to the appointment i got another confirmation text. I showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment and told, "we are very sorry, but we tried to reach you" your appointment was cancelled. Taking time out of work to go to finish a "confirmed" dentist appointment, losing pay, not my idea of fun. I feel I should be paid, what they would have "charged" me if i decided not to show up. This is nuts. 2 stars instead of one, because THE ONE person who actually worked with me on my initial visit was a very nice and competent person.
