Purslane Eatery

An absolutely delightful local gem! We're so happy that Purslane has now graced Main St. for more than a year. I believe we have tried everything on the menu, as well as some of the delicious beverages. They often have specials which are always just that... quite a special treat! Favorites include the local seafood options, salads, and, of course, the butterhead sandwiches. A very welcome addition to Wakefield and we look forward to frequenting them for years to come.

We LOVE Purslane! Its taken me way too long to write this review but we had been so excited to see them building out the restaurant last year and have been back so many times and it has never disappointed. We have friends who live an hour away and make the drive regularly to come here. The food is amazing, you really cant go wrong with the choice you make. My suggestion is always get the special if they have it so you dont miss out on whatever wonderful thing theyve come up with at that moment. The service is always really awesome, friendly, helpful with suggestions and quick. Looking forward to visiting again and again.

This restaurant is hands-down, one of my very favorite dining experiences. This restaurant may be small, but it dwarfs the competitors with exemplary customer service skills, a clean, focused and consistent kitchen. And The cocktails were amazing.
