        Great pre-op appointment with Dr Howlett. He explained all aspects of my upcoming partial knee replacement and answered all my questions. I feel very confident that I am being treated by the best orthopedic team. Follow-up to my original post: 4 months post partial knee replacement and all I can say is, I wish I did it sooner! I have been pain free since my surgery, which was on June 9th. Nat Howlett and his team are miracle workers. Also an amazing PT staff at OrthoRI. I was back to water aerobics, yoga and pickleball in 6 weeks. So if you are trying to make the decision to have a partial or full knee replacement, make the call now to OrthoRI and get an appointment with Nat Howlett or one of his PAs.

      Dr. Nathan Howlett is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who has a strong clinical interest in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He graduated at the top of his class in medical school and was elected to the leadership position of Chief Resident during his residency. After residency, he completed his fellowship training at the Boston University School of Medicine at Boston Medical Center, and developed advanced skills in the surgical management of shoulder and knee injuries in the pediatric and adult patient. Dr. Howlett’s commitment to sports medicine is rooted in his belief that it provides maximal benefit and improvement to get people back to living their lives as they were before injury.
