        I hired Kevin Papa to do perform a business valuation of my husbands company during my divorce. Not only did he completely ruin my case, he had unauthorized discussions with the opposing counsels business valuation CPA, John Barrett, regarding the appraisal. Kevin Papa said there was minimal appreciation during the marriage, instead of excepting his outcome of the valuation, I decided to hire a nation wide company Marcum LLP. ,Their ethical standards are very high. Marcum LLP, found that my husbands business appreciated 1.3 million during our marriage, which is a far cry from Kevins findings of 60,000 to 90,000, (during the marriage). I do not recommend using Kevin Papa to perform a business valuation.

      Divorce litigation is an extremely stressful experience. Piccerelli Gilstein & Company, LLP takes the allegations made by Ms. Brown very seriously. Due to the limitations imposed by the accountant-client relationship, we cannot respond to the particulars of Ms. Brown’s inaccurate allegations. However, we can state that there are many important facts missing from Ms. Brown’s allegations which if stated would demonstrate that Kevin Papa, a highly respected, credentialed and ethical accountant, performed all work on behalf of Ms. Brown in a professional manner and at all times worked to protect Ms. Brown’s interests. Additionally, Kevin provided invaluable assistance to Ms. Brown in the transition of her case to her new accountant. We are pleased that Ms. Brown was able to resolve her divorce case and we wish her well.
