I moved to Providence from LA about a year ago and needed a cleaning and checkup. I was pretty disappointed that there arent more reviews of dentists in Providence, so I hope to assist in reversing that problem. I had gone to some pretty shady dentists in LA, so I was a little nervous about finding a good one here, but I think I must have gotten lucky-- Dr. Page and his staff were great! The office is in a house in a nice east-side Providence residential neighborhood-- plenty of street parking. The office staff were very friendly-- I was treated well over the phone while making my appointment, and given an honest, accurate and reasonable price quote for a cleaning and checkup (I dont have dental ins. anymore).  Since I was a new patient I was given a few x-ray (2 bite wings-- refreshing, since the last 3 dentists ive gone to have insisted on doing full, entire mouth x-rays every time). Dr. Page did the cleaning himself-- he let me know that I wasn't flossing effectively and gave me tips for doing it better, gave a thorough examination, and didn't try to sell me any whitening treatment of other add-ons (you always get the hard sell in LA). The office was clean enough, though it might be time for some new wallpaper in the room I was in! I found the whole experience to be very positive and professional-- there were plenty of patients there, and it was busy, but the staff were handling everything very efficiently and professionally. I feel like I received honest, professional treatment, and thats really what I want when I go to the dentist. Thanks Dr. Page, and staff... see ya in 6 months (with healthy, pink gums!)
