Would not recommend this place to anyone. You basically have to chase them down for everything, poor communication skills.

I was represented by this law firm in a custody battle. We got off to a great start but as soon as it became apparent that it wasn't going to be a quick case they started to drop the ball. A case that should've went on for a few months turned into a couple of years. This is because orders weren't written when they were supposed to be and these particular orders would have ruled in my favor. I found myself having to be on top of them more and more. So overall, they were not very attentive which caused problems for us. Eventually, I did get, in some sence, what I was looking for but it took way longer than it should have. There were mix ups with court dates, writing orders, content in the orders, payment issues., etc. I also retained them for another matter and it was never addressed and ultimately was told that they were going to just apply that to pay towards the current case that was ongoing. I paid prematurely on that and got burned.

I would not recommend them. I first met with the son. He told me that his father was a former Probate Judge. He sounded pleasant, respectful and interested in the case. I met with the father Attorney William Devane who told me he would not look at the case until he had a large retainer. After providing with the retainer, and meeting, Attorney William Devane became very unprofessional first joint meeting, demeaning, telling me he would not allow me to talk, and showed he was not prepared. I told them I was not going to retain them, and then took thousands of dollars for work not performed.
